OUT OF THE BLUE, A SOLO EXHIBITION BY GEORGIE MCEWAN [APTHORP GALLERY, ARTSDEPOT, LONDON, MARCH- APRIL 2024]




Out of the Blue invites us into a world of the unexpected, a re-imagined landscape of the everyday where we can engage in the freedom of our imagination. Everyday fragments are transformed into a collection of dreamlike architectures and poetic abstractions of colour and pattern.

Out of The Blue was Georgie’s first solo exhibition and consisted of 21 abstract paintings across canvas and paper. The show was running from 30th March - 14th April 2024 and included a community collage making workshop for local residents to explore abstract ideas inspired by the artworks in the space.
