Archival Mural, Luxembourg: A Poetry of Bonds [1]
A Poetry of Bonds was a 15m mural comission for a private corporate client installed in their Luxembourg office in September 2021.
The piece celebrates the legacy of the client’s archival world, inspired by the intricate pattern work, rich colours and rigorous details discovered amidst the private archival collection.
The composition began by meticulously taking 769 photographs of the archival material, from which a new language of cut out patterns, texture, symmetries, hues, and shapes gradually evolved.
