MEXICO CITY COLLAGE_2 [CASA LÜ ARTIST RESIDENCY, JULY-SEPT_2023_MEXICO CITY]


These digital collages are my imaginative responses to the everyday details, architectures and overlooked surroundings observed around Mexico City. The juxtaposition of colours, textures and forms elevates these everyday scenes to celebrate their poetic nature and bring new meaning to these chance-led combinations of fragments. 

This became a way for me to record and reinterpret my experience walking around the city, using my own photographs together with overlaid sketches and memories.
