CREATURES: WORKS ON PAPER [CASA LÜ ARTIST RESIDENCY, JULY-SEPT_2023_MEXICO CITY]
This series of works on paper are explorations of initial ideas for the Creatures Of Assemblage sculptural works created at Casa Lü artist residency. These concepts were translated from 2d to 3d through papier mache explorations and exist as poetic reinterprertations of our overlooked every day surroundings [see: Creatures of Assemblage].
The paintings have developed into a group of Creatures, each with their own character and personality- beings that exist within the surrealist dreamscape of unexpected poetic architecture [see: Architectures Of The Unexpected].
