Archival Collage Series, Edinburgh: A Poetry of Bonds [2]
A Poetry of Bonds was a 12 piece artwork commission for a private client based in Edinburgh. The pieces were created digitally and printed and installed in the office space, 700x490mm each.
The pieces celebrate the legacy of the client’s archival world, inspired by the intricate pattern work, rich colours and rigorous details discovered amidst the private archival collection.
The composition began by meticulously taking 769 photographs of the archival material, from which a new language of cut out patterns, texture, symmetries, hues, and shapes gradually evolved.
